• Trivia League Kick-off at The Rec Room | September 19, 2023

• Pop-up Streetcar Party: Beer & Sunset Concert | September 20, 2023
  Every week, we're hosting a secret-performance with a new artist, an accoustic set, and a new local brewery atop the high level bridge. This week we have Emo LeBlanc performing and Arcadia Brewing for beverages. Tickets are on sale for $40 for the last streetcar of the season. More information, here.

• Edmonton International Film Festival | September 21 - October 1, 2023
  This year's festival boasts 90 short films and 25 feature films, featuring major titles such as: Anatomy of a Fall (Palme d'or 2023 Winner); Michel Gondry's The Book of Solutions; the uproarious (and Canadian!) • Birdog Harvest Dinner Series | September 21, 2023
  Celebrate the Harvest season with Birdog with a beautiful farm-to-table dinner series each Thursday in September. • OKTOBERFEST at Ice District | September 22 -30, 2023
  From September 22 to 30, Fan Park @ ICE District will be transformed into a Bavarian wonderland, complete with a massive 22,000 square foot tent for the Oktoberfest @ ICE District Beer Hall, live music, mouthwatering German cuisine, local vendors, activities, games and much more. • Doña Perón by Alberta Ballet | September 22 - 23, 2023
  Alberta Ballet is pleased to welcome guest company Ballet Hispanico in Doña Perón, a complex and moving portrait of Eva “Evita” Peron, Argentina’s most controversial first lady. More information, here.

• Bacon Day at The Workshop Eatery | September 22, 2023
  The Workshop Eatery is partnering with Irving’s Farm to host a pork filled party in support of the MS society. This event is a full evening of eating drinking and supporting a good cause. More information, here.

• Art Gallery After Dark: Banksy Edition | September 22, 2023
  This late-night event is a perfect time to visit the gallery with your friends, grab a drink at our bar, try your hand at making your own Banksy-inspired artwork and get late night access to this Iconic exhibition. More information, here.

• Barrel Fest at Ritchie Park 2023 | September 23, 2023
  Join us for a barrel o' fun at Ritchie Park, next to the Ritchie Community League. Enjoy unique beers from across Canada, poured by the brewers that made them. Tickets include a commemorative Barrel Fest glass. 100ml pours will be available for $4. More information, here.

• Ballet Edmonton Home Tour | September 23/24, 2023
  The @balletedmonton#BEHomeTour is comin' in hot on Saturday and Sunday. You can tour a penthouse and four other private homes in Edmonton area - including a tiny home! Tour the incredible homes at your own pace over the two-day tour and make it a self-guided design tour and a fun date night for Edmonton during the largest fundraiser for Ballet Edmonton.

• POP UP: House of Hush Burlesque | September 23, 2023
  Grab a table for House of Hush Burlesque, hosted by Smoke bar in Edmonton's Ice District. Styled after a past era of extravagant and lively parties, this show is performed “in the round” with burlesque artists performing throughout the room. More information, here.
  

Pop-ups, Trending Hotspots & Openings

• After the Red Ox Inn and Canteen closed, owners Andrea and Frank Olson were excited for their next adventure. After 8 months preparing, Happy & Olive is their newest restaurant.

• The Italian Center has opened the Italian Bakery this week. Stop by this week and grab all your favourites - there’s a bocce ball court inside! Find the bakery at 108aAve and 95 Street

• Try newest restaurant and cocktail bar in Edmonton is Often. The resturant is built on mystery, the food and cocktail menus are not found online. You’ll have to visit this one to try it!

• Smokey Bear is relocating to downtown and a new concept will be taking over the a location in Old Strathcona. For the last 6 weeks of service, Smokey Bear will be featuring some of their original classics.

• Watch for Bella to pop up in the old location of Smokey Bear. A new concept Italian(ish) resturant is coming in hot.

• The original High Dough location has a new resturant, Little Wolf. With their soft opening, you can try out the new menu and cocktails.

• Landmark Cinemas has decided to now include a new service fee to tickets starting Wednesday. If you are not an Extra Member you will now be charged $1.50 per ticket for online purchases. Even though we’re the extra members, we’re not here for this upcharge.
