Check out Building Black Civilizations: Journey of 2,000 Ships on January 18, 2025. This captivating exhibition brings to life the expedition of an intrepid African explorer and king, reimagined through the lens of Afrofuturism.
Downtown? Enjoy a Library Lunchtime Concert featuring Edmonton favourites, the High Level Trio. Musicians: Ewald Cheung, Ethan Filner, and Julie Hereish will play a variety of classical and contemporary repertoire for string trio including Beethoven at this fully-accessible, free performance.

Winterruption is back! The Winterruption YEG festival takes place January in Edmonton. The multi-venue music and arts festival rolls out in multiple venues in downtown Edmonton. In addition to inside events, Winterruption features a number of free outdoor activities in the downtown core.
