The UFest Ukrainian Festival kicks off today in Edmonton. It’s your chance
Stingers vs Bandits. Get in the stands and kick off the weekend with an evening oc. ‘On the Banks of the Nut’ is on stage with a pay-what-you-can night TONIGHT. One of Lemoine’s zippiest screwball comedies returns in its first revival since 2010. In this uniquely bucolic escapade, an affably inept federal talent agent and a plucky temp embark on a hare-brained talent quest in rural Wisconsin in 1951. Their madcap project involves bird-watching, pie, the music of Mahler, a pair of embattled star-crossed lovers, and the abruptest civic election in history, all at the curiously appointed Nut River Lodge.
