Friday Night After-hours at Muttart. Experience the wonders of Mars after dark! Join Chris Herd, U of A professor and Mars geology expert, to learn about the study of Mars, its geologic history and our search for evidence of ancient life. Professor Herd will also discuss his role in the NASA Perseverance rover mission, which is collecting samples of rock and soil for eventual return to Earth. The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada will be at the Muttart, offering planet and stargazing opportunities, weather permitting.
